Easy Steps To Get Past Writer’s Block

Overcoming writer’s block has so many prescribed cures that seem like witches’ brew, you may as well be trying to get rid of hiccups. My favorite remedy is “just write anything.” If I were to follow this advice when I’m stuck in a frustrating blank stare moment, my page would be filled with expletives that would be of no use to anyone, including Lenny Bruce.

When Getting Stuck Goes Amuck

Many of us have always wanted to write. We have all gotten writer’s block. What happens when we are stuck? Can we go to a doctor for having writer’s block? Are there any “writing doctors” that prescribe medication to overcome what to write about or how to stress our premise?

The Gift Of Writer’s Block

Anyone who writes knows this scenario at one time or another: You have something to say, great ideas to express. So, you go to the page only to find your mind has gone as blank as the sheet or screen before you. Paralyzed, you write not a word. Somewhere in the synapses of your imagination, you know there lives a fully formed novel, story, play, or even one single poem, but you cannot magnify it enough to see the individual words.

Action. Ideas. Motivation.

The Concept of A.I.M was born out of necessity while I was writing (well more to the point attempting to write) my book called Financial Dignity. The book took many years to research and development but I was to realize just now much of the time was taken up doing nothing.
